SUBMISSIONS

Our vision is to grow the community to further expand and build the network of ideas from around the world. Please submit your ideas by following the instructions below.

GENERAL DESIGN PROMPT

  • Observe and respond to your surroundings.
  • Embrace your cultural and geographical vernaculars.
  • Respect the needs of your neighbors and/or environment.
  • Consider durability, stability, and safety.
  • Consideration of accessibility, approachability, and/or resourcefulness of materials is a plus.
  • Ask what you can offer or share rather than what "problems" you can "solve" or "fix".
  • Design, build, and install your project at a chosen spot.
  • All designers should provide open-source design drawings or instructions that can be understood by others.

PUBLIC ACCESS GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  • Authorship over ownership
  • Diversity over Homogenization
  • Facilitating over Dictating
  • Sharing over Commoditizing
  • Connecting over Extracting
  • Creating over Criticizing
